The SCPW participates in the 15th International Living Lakes Network Conference on Lakes and Wetlands.
Ms. Amy Lecciones represented SCPW and CLEAR in the Conference and presented the project Active, Clean and Bountiful Rivers: The Wetlands BioBlitz”. She reported the accomplishments of CLEAR/SCPW during the General Assembly and distributed copies of the Training Manual for the Youth Ecological Camp.
More than 200 lake conservationists, policy makers and company representatives from over 40 countries participated in the 15th International Living Lakes Conference. Topics discussed included current challenges and solutions for the protection of lakes and wetlands
The international conference was on 7 to 9 May 2019 in Valencia, Spain.
