It is being implemented through United Nations – World Food Programme’s Disaster Preparedness and Response Programme in the province of Laguna.

Training of Trainers on the Conduct
of Youth Ecological Camp

The Training of Trainers is one component of the project that will ensure that the youth will continuously have a pool of trainers who can pass on the learnings to other sectors of the community and to develop the skills of people and institutions in engaging youth towards actions and initiatives relevant to Disaster Preparedness and Response, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in the project sites.
The Training of Trainers for Mabitac, Pila and Rizal was conducted back-to-back with the Youth Ecological Camp – Mabitac held on 9-11 April 2014 in order that the trainer-participants could apply what they have learned during the training. Ten (10) high school teachers from five (5) schools participated in the training. Participating schools were Paagahan National High School – Main and Matalatala Annex and Mabitac National High School in Mabitac, Cristobal S. Conducto Memorial National High School in Rizal, and Don Manuel Rivera Memorial National High School in Pila.
